2026 Makers Market Fundraiser

Community Bible Church – Stockbridge, Georgia

Trail Life USA Troop GA-2001 is preparing for our 2026 Makers Market fundraiser, and we are inviting businesses, makers, online sellers, collectors, families, and friends of the troop to help us stock our fundraising booth with merchandise.

Items donated to the troop will be sold during the event, with the proceeds helping support our Trailmen and the activities and opportunities we provide throughout the year.

Know someone who might be able to help?

Please share this page with them.

Many of the best opportunities come through personal connections. You may know a local business owner, craftsman, outdoor retailer, online seller, collector, manufacturer, distributor, or simply someone with merchandise they would be willing to contribute.

A donation does not need to be large or expensive to make a difference. Even one item can help.

Who We Are

Trail Life USA Troop GA-2001 is a local Trail Life troop serving boys and families in our community.

Through camping, outdoor adventures, service projects, practical skills, leadership opportunities, and achievement programs, our Trailmen are encouraged to grow in character, responsibility, faith, leadership, and service to others.

Our troop meets at Community Bible Church in Stockbridge, Georgia, which hosts our meetings and many of our troop and community activities.

How You Can Help

Our goal is simple: collect merchandise that can be sold at our Makers Market booth to raise funds for the troop.

We know businesses—especially small businesses—are frequently asked for donations. We understand that giving away expensive inventory isn’t always practical.

We are grateful for help at any level.

Donations might include:

  • Knives and outdoor equipment
  • Camping gear
  • Tools
  • Everyday-carry accessories
  • Flashlights
  • Sharpening equipment and accessories
  • Ferro rods and fire-starting equipment
  • Paracord products
  • Handmade goods and crafts
  • Camping and recreational goods
  • Hats, shirts, patches, stickers, and branded merchandise
  • Gift certificates
  • New merchandise
  • Open-box merchandise
  • Discontinued products
  • Older or slow-moving inventory
  • Cosmetic blemishes or factory seconds that are still safe and functional
  • Other merchandise appropriate for our fundraising event

If you’re unsure whether something would be useful, please reach out. We’re happy to discuss it.

It Doesn’t Have to Be a Premium Item

For the small businesses and independent sellers considering helping us, we want to make this especially clear:

We are not expecting anyone to give us their most expensive merchandise.

An older item that’s been sitting on a shelf, a discontinued model, an open-box product, a small accessory, or merchandise that simply hasn’t found the right buyer can be incredibly useful to our troop.

An item that may not make a significant difference to your current inventory could make a meaningful contribution to our fundraiser.

Other Ways Businesses Can Help

An outright merchandise donation isn’t the only way to support the fundraiser.

Dealer or Wholesale Pricing

If you’re unable to donate an item, you could allow the troop to purchase merchandise at or near your cost. The difference between our purchase price and the amount raised at the Makers Market can then support the troop.

Special Fundraiser Pricing

A substantial discount on one or more items specifically for the fundraiser can also give us an opportunity to raise money.

Closeout or Older Inventory

Discontinued, overstocked, slow-moving, open-box, or older merchandise can be especially helpful.

Accessories & Promotional Items

Smaller products matter too. Accessories, hats, patches, shirts, stickers, sharpening stones, knife slips, promotional merchandise, and similar items can all contribute to a successful booth.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates or store credit can be sold, included with other merchandise, or used to acquire products for the fundraiser.

Whatever level of participation makes sense for your business, we appreciate you considering us.

Ship Donations Directly to Our Church

We want donors—especially businesses and people who may not know us personally—to be confident that their contribution is being sent directly to the organization we’re representing.

For that reason, donated merchandise can be shipped directly to Community Bible Church, addressed specifically to our Trail Life troop.

Shipping Address

Community Bible Church
ATTN: Trail Life Troop GA 2001
2001 Jodeco Road
Stockbridge, GA 30281

Please include your name or business name and contact information inside the shipment whenever possible so we know who contributed the item and can properly thank you.

Businesses may also include a business card, website, social-media information, seller username, or QR code.

If possible, please contact the troop when an item is shipped so we’ll know to expect your package.

We’ll Recognize the Businesses That Support Us

We want the people supporting our troop to know about the businesses that supported the boys.

When merchandise is contributed by a business or online seller, we can identify the donor alongside the item at our fundraising booth.

Recognition may include your:

Business Name
Website
Whatnot, eBay, Etsy, or other seller account
Social Media
Business Card
QR Code

If you’re an online seller, feel free to include promotional material with your shipment.

It’s a simple way for us to say thank you and introduce members of our community to the businesses and individuals who helped make our fundraiser possible.

Where Does the Money Go?

Funds raised through the Makers Market help support Trail Life USA Troop GA-2001 and our Trailmen.

Throughout the year, our troop participates in activities such as camping, outdoor adventures, hands-on skills, service opportunities, advancement programs, and other experiences designed to challenge and develop the boys.

Fundraising helps support expenses including:

  • Troop activities and adventures
  • Camping and outdoor programs
  • Program equipment and supplies
  • Advancement materials
  • Community Outreach
  • Service projects
  • Special troop events
  • Travel costs for events.
  • Other troop program expenses

Our goal is to provide meaningful experiences for our Trailmen while keeping participation as accessible as possible for troop families.

Parents, Families & Friends — You Can Help Too

You don’t have to personally donate merchandise to help with this fundraiser.

Think about the people you know.

Do you know someone who:

  • Owns a small business?
  • Sells products online?
  • Runs a Whatnot, eBay, Etsy, or similar store?
  • Makes handmade products?
  • Owns an outdoor, sporting-goods, hardware, or tool business?
  • Works for a manufacturer or distributor?
  • Collects knives, tools, outdoor gear, or other merchandise?
  • Has connections with a business that might be willing to help?

Send them the link to this page.

You don’t need to make the fundraising pitch yourself. Simply tell them that your son’s Trail Life troop is collecting merchandise for a church-hosted fundraiser and ask if they would be willing to take a look.

Every person who sees this page gives us another opportunity to connect with someone who wants to support the boys.
